I honor Dame Elizabeth from the bottom of my heart. I grew up being enriched and enchanted by her in movie roles from National Velvet to Cleopatra to Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf. Most of all, her efforts on behalf of HIV/AIDS awareness were appreciated by the gay male community in the US as a result of the fearful scourge we faced in the ’80’s and ’90’s.
Dear Elizabeth – Rest in Peace.

Elizabeth Taylor lived her life to the fullest, developed her craft, stood on her tiptoes and reached for the stars. But her lasting legacy will forever be her humanitarian cause for Aids. She took her fame and money to a higher cause than her own gain.
