Give It Up Sarah; Todd’s Not Dedicated to Anything But Prostitution

 

We have proof that Todd Palin’s a loser again. In this his 19th Iron Dog Race, he finished the race in 5th place. He was roughly 30 minutes behind the winner.  However if you were to read Sarah Palin’s facebook post, you’d be left with the impression that Todd was the pillar of the community, dedicated to family, freedom, and “finished strong” in the Iron Dog. Sarah said:

“Finished strong in the Iron Dog! Todd just told me, “Along with the competition, this was another great trip across Alaska seeing old friends in villages. Honored to have a picture with Alaska’s famous elder, Sydney Huntington. (He’s the one who gave us the quote, ‘Common sense is an endangered species in government.’) I’m overwhelmed by the hospitality and support shown to us in each town and village. I love these folks. It was a rough and tough race, but I’m glad we were able to finish, and I kept in mind I was racing in honor of our fallen warriors who secure our freedom.”

Todd’s race winnings are donated to The Chris Kyle Memorial Fund. For the kids and me, we’re proud of our Iron Dogger, especially his dedication to family and freedom.

The truth is that Todd didn’t “finish strong.” He wasn’t first, second, third, or fourth. By finishing if fifth place he received the smallest monetary prize of $10,000 to be split between himself and his partner.

Sarah claims that Todd was racing in “honor of our fallen warriors who secure our freedom.” Yes, Chris Kyle was shot and killed. Yes Mr. Kyle was an American Hero. As the most deadly sniper, Mr. Kyle turned his success in the military into financial success with his book, American Sniper, which became a Best Seller. 

However it is clear that Todd Palin was interested in promoting himself as an American Hero,  instead of actually doing that which  Chris Kyle would have wanted. Consider the following:

1. Todd Palin is married to Sarah and her estimated net worth is $12 Million dollars. The idea of donating proceeds from the Iron Dog of a mere $5000.00 is a token donation to any charity from a couple worth millions.

2. Chris Kyle was dedicated to trying to help soldiers cope with the trauma inflicted by combat. Chris became an outspoken advocate for FITCO Cares Foundation, created by the heroes Project to provide free in-home fitness equipment to veterans in need, including Gold Star families, or those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.  If Todd’s mission was to honor Chris Kyle, he would have donated any earnings to that charity. Instead he donated funds to an organization that would allow Todd Palin to associate himself with Chris Kyle.

3. Chris Kyle was shot and killed at a shooting range by a mentally ill soldier to whom Chris Kyle entrusted an assault weapon. Thus if the death of Chris Kyle should stand for anything it should be about the danger of allowing mentally ill people to have access to assault weapons. Of course Sarah Palin is staunchly opposed to gun control in spite of the many tragedies caused by mentally ill shooters.

Sarah concludes her facebook post by explaining that

“For the kids and me, we’re proud of our Iron Dogger, especially his dedication to family and freedom.”

To suggest that Todd is “dedicated to freedom is laughable as a result of his history with the Alaska Independence Party which advocated freedom from the United States.

To suggest that Todd is dedicated to ‘FAMILY” is even more outrageous as we know that what he is really dedicated to is his hustling of prostitutes, not his family.

Even if Todd should deny his involvement with Shailey Tripp, which he has never done, he has entered 19 Iron Dog races. Todd has worked on the North Slope, and spent the summers fishing in Bristol Bay, and based on the number of e-mails he sent out of the Governor’s office, it appears he spent significant time pretending to be the Governor. On the campaign trail we saw Todd at almost every stop. That doesn’t leave much time at home to be the stay-at-home dad that Sarah continues to portray.

Todd Palin is not the Iron Dog Champion. He is not a dedicated family man. He is not a patriot of America. He is a predator of women, a pimp, and he has a long history of advocating secession from the United States.
