When Palin was first introduced to the American public she characterized her family as an “average American Middle Class Family.” Sean Hannity made the observation back in 2008 that she was the only person involved in the 2008 race who was not a millionaire. The Palin family may not have been worth millions in August of 2008, but the Palin family has never been “average”. The image of the “average” American family has been promoted by Palin herself suggesting that she and her family have been targeted by the “elites” and the “blue bloods”.
If celebrity status was the relevant criterion for determining if someone qualifies as a member of the”elite” then Palin is now an official member of the “elite”. Sarah Palin was the star of the reality television show “Sarah’s Palin’s Alaska” and Bristol made it to the final round of Dancing with the Stars. Palin and her family not only attended the Academy Awards, but they ravaged the gifting suite. Piper had her picture taken with Ashton Kutcher, and Sarah posed with Betty White.
Palin has appeared on Oprah, and Leno. She has been featured on SNL and on The Today Show. Sarah Palin has millions of “friends” on Facebook. She is as far from “average” as Lady Gaga, or Charles Manson.
If money or net worth was the critical factor, Palin no longer qualifies. The average “middle class hockey mom” doesn’t make $100,000 per speech, fly in private planes, ride in chauffer driven limos, get paid $2,000,000.00 for making a “reality show”, earn hundreds of thousands of dollars making appearances on Fox News calling the President a “liar,” or makes millions off of two books that bear her image but were written by a “ghost writer.” The “average” middle class mom saves all year for a family vacation in the family minivan to travel to Disneyland. The average “family” doesn’t ride on Harleys in D.C., waving and winking at the media, only to be picked up by a bus decorated with your signature.
The truth is that Palin is now worth an estimated $12,000,000.00. Her 1.7 Million Dollar house in Scottsdale Arizona is just a “getaway property”. When Sarah Palin wants to get away, she likes to do it in an “average” 8000 square foot house, with six bedrooms, a pool, billiard room, home theater, wine cellar, and “resort-style backyard”
Her moose burgers taste “average” even when made in this average kitchen.
I wonder if she will be gritting her teeth while watching the HBO movie, Game Change, while having a beer in her own average home theater.

Humanity………..that’s a big one. What has this person who talks to God given back to humanity in thanks for her blessings? Who has she taken the time to help? She’s no Jimmy Carter. What charitable causes has she made major contributions to? The only thing we do see is the whole family draining other peoples’ resources. I’m guessing they still jet from Arizona to use Alaskan Native American health benefits.

Isn’t that the home she was renting in Arizona? I saw a walk through of the home she just bought and it was completely empty. It was not finished yet, it had been foreclosed on before the previous tenants finished. The outside looks like Bin Laden’s fortress, surrounded by a fence and cactus and sagebrush. Ugly like the owner. Barren, forbidding just like $carah.

Since 2008, she has been touting her being “average” as a reason to vote her into power. She is far from average on so many levels that I will just name a few. Her income, as you noted, is $12 million. However, her I.Q.
is below room temperature, and she is a horrible mother. She’s way above average when it comes to delivering hate-filled snarkfests and bilking gullible souls out of their money by pretending she is something she is not and never will be. But the biggest irony of all is that in spite of her rants against the “elite” (read Democrats), being part of the elite is what she has aspired to be and what she is now. Of course, since her money hasn’t been able to give her class or dignity, that is one area where she will never be “elite.”
