Donald Trump is “Fuming” Mad About the Truth

Trump campaigned on a platform that he would build a great wall and make Mexico pay for it.

Just the samples of the choices for the wall cost $20 Million dollars.  Estimates for the actual wall were estimated to be $20 BILLION dollars.

John Kelly, Trump’s chief of staff, told Fox News that Trump has “changed his attitude” on the wall.  Appearing on Fox News Wednesday evening, Kelly pointed to the border wall as an example of how the President has adjusted his views after being briefed by experts.

“He has evolved in the way he’s looked at things,” Kelly said, adding, “Campaign to governing are two different things, and this President has been very, very flexible in terms of what is within the realm of the possible.”

He added, “He’s changed his attitude towards the DACA issue and even the wall.”

Asked whether Mexico would pay for the wall, Kelly suggested the payment would be indirect.

“We have some ideas on how things like visa fees, renegotiation on NAFTA on what that would mean to our economy. So in one way or another, it’s possible that we could get the revenue from Mexico but not directly from their government,” he told Fox.

Sources also told CNN that Kelly told Democratic lawmakers that some of Trump’s positions on the border wall were “uninformed.”

Trump was fuming after Kelly’s Fox News interview, a source familiar with the matter told CNN, adding that the President “hated” the comments.

Trump took to Twitter to respond to the remarks of his Chief of Staff.  Trump said:  “The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it. Parts will be, of necessity, see through and it was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection such as mountains, wastelands or tough rivers or water…..

President Donald Trump insisted that he has remained consistent in his plans for a border wall, a day after Kelly’s remarks.  As we’ve seen over and over, when somebody within Trump’s inner circle tells the truth, Trump responds with fire and fury.

Here a just a few examples:

1.  While touring his recently purchased Plaza Hotel in the late 1980s, Donald Trump noticed an armoire that offended him.  Fuming, Trump accused his staff of making him look bad. In an expletive-laced explosion, he ripped the door off the subpar piece of furniture.

2.  The New York Times reported this week that Trump, in front of multiple people, called Jeff Sessions, an “idiot.”

3.  Trump displays  “volcanic” temper when he “feels ganged up on” or when nobody tells him one of his ideas is good.

4.  “Outbursts at his most loyal underlings have become commonplace. Multiple men of distinction, with long careers in public service, say the dressings-down that have sprung from Trump’s lips are the most demeaning they’ve enduring in their adult lives.”
