For months we have watched as the Republican Party searched for anybody but Mitt Romney as a Presidential Candidate for 2012. We watched Michele Bachmann eat corny dogs
and buy votes at the Iowa state fair.
As she rose in the polls we suspected that people were indicating that she was a favored candidate not because of her actual appeal as a Presidential candidate, but because they wanted Marcus Bachmann to be featured on Dancing With the Stars.
We watched Rick Perry replace Bachmann as the GOP frontrunner. When he began to plummet in the polls, the possible explanations were so numerous that it was hard to choose just one reason. There was Niggerhead.
There was the brain-fart at the Republican Debate when he tried to list three things, but could only remember two. Then there was the newspaper ads suggesting that Mr. Perry had a history of sexual indiscretions, with men and women.
Then there was the memorable picture of Rick eating his corny dog.
Perhaps the most memorable, colorful, drug inspired, and epic speech in New Hampshire was the most unforgettable.
Those memorable moments of Rick Perry don’t even include any consideration of his historic failure as Governor of Texas and the corruption that has come to define who he is.
Immediately after Rick-good-hair Perry started to fall into disfavor, “Herb” Cain started to emerge as the Republican leader.
As if the multiple claims of sexual harassment were not enough to destroy his prospects as a real contender, Herb sealed his fate with a brain fart of his own. Herb couldn’t articulate ANY policy on Libya, and didn’t seem to even understand who the enemy was in Libya.
All three of these candidates declared that God told them to run for President; Bachmann, Perry,Cain. Evidently God has a sense of humor. If he told the three to run, he must have wanted to provide something to laugh about at a troubling time for America. God must be a Democrat, and this was his way of ensuring Obama would win re-election.
CNN reports today that a tea party group is urging Michele Bachmann to act like Sarah Palin, and quit. Even though Bachmann is the leader of the so-called Tea Party movement, Ned Ryun, the American-Majority President says “It’s time to go”. Bachmann should have been prevented from participating in the Republican debates long ago, when she proved she was foolish enough to use Yiddish words that she couldn’t pronounce!..
She has been known for saying really foolish things:
If she drops out of the presidential race, maybe she’ll have time to write a book. She could call it:
My Husband Isn’t Gay and Other Foolish Things I Have Said.

Just for fun…It’s rainin men…
I love the notion articulated by United States Supreme Court Justice Stewart in the case of Jacobellis v. Ohio that “I KNOW IT WHEN I SEE IT.” That was a case involving obscenity and the Justice was explaining that it was difficult or impossible to articulate a definition for obscenity. Justice Stewart was praised for his “candor” and his “realistic and gallant” admission that there are just some things that we know when we see them, that they are very wrong. It may be hard to find words that sufficiently describe the visceral reaction people might have to a photograph or film.
Make no mistake, I am not suggesting or even implying that pictures of Michele and Marcus Bachmann from the Iowa state fair this weekend are obscene. They are NOT obscene. Yet, the reaction you may have to them may be similar to the notion that when you see them you know something is wrong. Something is terribly wrong with a candidate for President who appears at a highly publicized event, with 800 reporters, knowing that her every move will be photographed, and puts herself in a position to have these types of photographs taken of her.
After all the publicity associated with Marcus, his sexual preferences, and his pray-away the gay clinic, why would Michelle and Marcus make a public spectacle of themselves with corny dogs?
Does anyone think this is an accident? If you do remember Michele Bachmann’s reference to mud wrestling between Sarah Palin and herself? Remember when she said:
“ They want to see two girls come together and have a mud wrestling fight, and I am not going to give that to them,” when asked by a voter who asked about her relationship with the former Alaska Governor.
Something is terribly wrong with the image of the President and the First Dude of the United States looking like this.
A puppet has no brain. It can’t think for itself. It can’t speak for itself. Anything said or done by a puppet is totally controlled by its master. Sarah Palin has a puppet master. His name is Todd.
Michele Bachmann has a puppet master, his name is Marcus.
The “First Dude” of Alaska was admittedly involved in decision making and running of the Alaskan government while Sarah held the title of “Governor.” In almost 3000 e-mails Todd, the puppet master, demonstrated his involvement, which included judicial appointments and negotiations with public employee unions.
Thomas Van Flein, the attorney on retainer by SarahPAC, issued the following Press Release:
“ Todd Palin was, and remains, a close advisor to the Governor. Those in the administration knew this, and the public knew this. There is nothing unusual, untoward, or inappropriate for a spouse of a chief executive to provide guidance, input, and hands on assistance.”
Certainly Frank Bailey confirmed Todd’s role in his book, Blind Allegiance. Documents released in the Trooper Gate matter also reveal the dominant role Todd Played in the firing of Walt Monegan. Todd Palin was reported to have had an “extraordinary” level of access to top state officials, more than a dozen, whom he contacted directly to complain about Trooper Wooten. In his sworn statement to legislative investigators, Todd was unapologetic about his efforts to get Mr Wooten fired. He said: “I had hundreds of conversations and communications about Trooper Wooten over the last several years with my family, with friends, with colleagues and with just about everyone I could – including government officials.” “I talked about Wooten so much over the years that my wife told me to stop talking about it with her.” When Sarah told Todd to “stop talking about it with her” she demonstrated her decision to let the matter go. Todd did not stop talking about it and ultimately convinced Sarah to fire Wooten. Thus, the Puppet Master controlled the puppet. Sarah was found to have committed a breech of ethics by firing Monegan, so the puppet was disciplined, but nothing was done regarding the Puppet Master.
Michele Bachmann is likewise controlled by her husband. Michele Bachmann has admitted that she believes her job is to be “submissive” to her husband. Most women, and certainly women in leadership roles in corporate America and politics, object to being told what to do. Most women feel that if they are to be truly independent, they should be allowed to make decisions for themselves. Certainly when making the most personal of decisions, such as whether to go to school and what to major in, most modern women would object to their husband telling them what to do. Not Michele Bachmann. Michele herself explained that God told her to go to law school, to marry Marcus Bachmann, and that Marcus told her to get a post-doctorate degree in tax law. She went even further to explain that this decision was totally contrary to her wishes as she explained that “Tax Law? I hate taxes…but she was certain God was speaking through her husband. “Why should I go and do something like that?” she said. “But the Lord says, Be submissive wives; you are to be submissive to your husbands.” She obtained a LLM in tax law.
Later when she made the decision to run for Congress, Michele relied upon God and her husband to reach her decision. She and her husband fasted and prayed for three days. According to Michele, her husband said “You need to do this.”After three days of fasting, medical doctors have documented weakness, confusion, irritability, decreased sex drive, and BAD DECISION MAKING. Yet Michele viewed her duty as being submissive to her husband. The Puppet Master had spoken. She ran for Congress.
The most amazing thing is that Bachmann, like Palin, uses her children when it is to her advantage, but declares family to be “off limits” when it is embarrassing to answer difficult questions about their sexual preferences, drug usage, pregnancy, and/or criminal activity. In the Republican debate Michele Bachmann mentioned her 23 foster children three times. Yet when something uncomplimentary is asked about her husband or children, Bachmann declared that her family was “off limits.” When Sarah Palin uses Trig as a prop at the Republican convention or at book signing, she obviously considers him to be relevant. Bristol’s pregnancy was “off limits” unless she was selling photos to a magazine, or writing a book about sexual adventures at the camp site.
When husbands like Todd Palin and Marcus Bachmann take such an active role in the professional lives of their wives, the electorate would be foolish not to consider their involvement. If Todd Palin is involved in making Judicial appointments, then it is highly relevant that he does not have a college degree. If Marcus Bachmann makes decisions for Michele about such important matters as what education and career path she should pursue, then we need to know the position of Marcus Bachmann on all the issues if Michele is running. In order to anticipate what a puppet will do or say, it is critical to understand what the Puppet Master thinks, and how he approaches conflict.
Jon Stewart summed it up quite nicely in two separate segments on Marcus Bachmann.
The hypocrisy of a “counselor” who appears to be gay counseling homosexuals to “pray away the gay” is doubly hypocritical. However here are some additional facts you might not know about the first-dude-wannabe:
1. Marcus Bachmann describes himself as his wife’s political “strategist,” her personal assistant, press secretary, and confidante.
2. Marcus Bachman plays a central role in the campaign of his wife, focusing on her image. He is her “image consultant”, her personal shopper. Michele says that Marcus has a “good sense of style” and she is particularly impressed with the “a sleek, simple hourglass dress with a yoke collar in winter white.”
3. Marcus Bachmann played a major role in his wife’s religious evolution. The Wisconsin Evangelical Luther Synod, to which the Bachmans belong, believe that a wife’s primary purpose is to be a “submissive helper” to her “godly husband.” By way of example, Michele Bachmann explained that she got her degree in tax law, not because she had any particular interest in taxes, but because it was what her husband wanted. She said: “Why should I go and do something like that?” she remembered thinking. “”But the Lord says, ‘Be submissive wives; you are to be submissive to your husbands.’”
4. Bachmann & Associates employs 27 counselors including Dr. Bachmann, who use “Christ-centered” methods to treat a range of mental health problems, including “co-dependency”, “shame,” “spiritual issues,” and marital problems.
5. Dr. Bachmann is not registered with any of the three boards that certify mental health professionals in Minnesota, according to Politico. But despite his lack of credentials, Bachmann & Associates has collected more than $137,000 in annual Medicaid payments for treating patients since 2005, NBC News reports, in addition to roughly $24,000 in federal and state grant funds that the clinic received to train staff on how to deal with clients suffering from chemical dependency and mental illness.
On the registry of national Medicare and Medicaid providers, Dr. Bachmann is listed as a psychologist but there is no license number.
Thus taxpayers are paying for Medicare and Medicaid benefits for Mr. Bachmann to pray with people to attempt to change their sexual preferences even though this approach has been identified as “ineffective” and “harmful” . . Under the Hyde amendment we do not allow tax dollars to be spent for medically essential abortion services even when the mother’s life is in jeopardy, but we do pay an apparently homosexual man when giving religious therapy for “curing” homosexuality. What’s wrong with that picture?
What is worse than a child-molester? As a parent I can think of only one thing. That is someone who causes the death of a child. This is the first in a three-part series on the criminal behavior of Michele and Marcus Bachmann that has resulted in the deaths of nine teenage homosexuals in their district.
Have we forgotten the suicide of Tyler Clement, the Rutger’s student who took his life after being the victim of an outrageous violation of his privacy? He didn’t kill himself because he was filmed having heterosexual intercourse, but because he was filmed having a homosexual relationship. Did our society learn nothing from his death? What about the three other suicides that occurred within the same month, which all related to teenage bullying based on gender issues? . Even if you believe God doesn’t love homosexual people, surely you don’t believe in a God that encourages the death of those people. Michele and Marcus Bachmann do. Marcus Bachmann, the husband of Michele Bachmann, runs a “clinic” in Minnesota where he counsels homosexuals regarding their sexual orientation, suggesting that prayer is the solution to their “problem.” He is the poster child for the notion that people should “Pray Away the Gay.”
Michele and Marcus Bachmann have been described as engaged in a “war” on LGBT people. Marcus Bachmann has declared that Gay people are “barbarians”. Michele Bachmann told Minnesota educators that if teachers who are openly gay are permitted in the classrooms, that they could end up recruiting 8 year-old boys to their “way of life.”
Unable to separate her religious beliefs and her obligations as a Congresswoman, Michele Bachmann told the Minnesota state legislature that passing an anti-bullying law would be a “waste of time.” Her rationale was that there will always be bullies. If this type of argument was persuasive, then we could also say that there will always be murders or drunk drivers, so why pass a law?
Over the past two years, a total of nine teenagers have committed suicide in a Minnesota school district represented by Rep. Michele Bachmann—the latest in May—and many more students have attempted to take their lives. State public health officials have labeled the area a “suicide contagion area” because of the unusually high death rate. Michele Bachmann has remained silent in spite of request for comments.
The U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Education has launched a federal investigation into these suicides. Although Michele Bachmann and her husband have denied that the clinic they own has used religion or prayer in their clinic to “cure” homosexuality, actual video footage demonstrated that the opposite is true. ABC News revealed a compelling story and video taken of these counseling sessions that proves the use of religion and prayer in an attempt to “cure” homosexuality. The American Psychiatric Association has been outspoken in their criticism of these Christian “clinics” explaining that their message is “ineffective” and “harmful.”
The conduct of Michele and Marcus Bachmann is reprehensible.
1. Whether a person is heterosexual or homosexual is the result of biological factors, much like the color of a person’s hair, eyes, height, or gender.
2. To suggest that homosexuality is something that needs to be “cured” is like comparing homosexuality to a disease.
3. To suggest that a person can stop being homosexual through prayer, suggests that if you are homosexual, you must be an evil person, because if you were holy you would be free from this evil.
4. Failing to address the crisis of teen suicide due to lack of acceptance of sexual orientation is a dominant factor in each of the nine teen suicides in Michele Bachman’s district.
Michele Bachmann has refused to “waste her time” in the past to address this intolerable situation. The nine teenagers who have taken their own lives, did so because of bullying which Michele Bachmann indicated was a waste of time to address. She didn’t make a video tape of a teen involved in an act of homosexuality, but by her refusal to take affirmative action against such brutality, Michele Bachmann is complicit in the deaths of each of the teens, and those who will die in the future. The image of homosexuals as “barbarians” who are in need of “education” and “discipline,”is sick. As a politician in Minnesota, she is in a position of authority and respect. Because Marcus Bachmann is a PhD. and a counselor, he is in a position of trust. Both have dedicated themselves to making young homosexual people in their community to feel that a characteristic with which they were born makes them in need of a cure. At least with child molesters the children can be saved and the molesters go to jail. In the case of Michele and Marcus Bachmann, the children can’t be brought back to life, Michele and Marcus won’t go to jail, and instead think they belong in the White House.
Edmund Burke said:
“‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
