John McCain was in his seventies when he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008. Roger Ailes was almost 70 when he hired Sarah Palin to speak on Fox News. It seems this is a trend. Ailes current wife is 20 years younger than Ailes.
McCain’s current wife is 18 years younger. Both divorced older women in order to marry women young enough to be their daughters.
Ailes thinks Palin is stupid.McCain hasn’t declared publicly that she is stupid but Steve Schmidt, McCain’s campaign chief basically said that.. When McCain lost the election he knew Sarah Palin had cost him votes, but he didn’t seem to learn much. He continued to use her to raise money in his re-election campaign for Senate in Arizona. Ailes is now unhappy with Palin for her failure to announce her decision not to seek the Presidency on Fox. Palin is still under contract with Fox News, and the only question is how will Ailes use her for the next year of her contract. Perhaps Fox News will feature its female commentators in swim suits when they report the news?
Bill O’Reilly’s latest book titled Killing Lincoln is so riddled with factual inaccuracies that Ford’s Theatre, where President Lincoln was assassinated, will not even stock the book in their bookstore. In his book, O’Reilly writes of the Oval Office, which was not built until the Taft Administration in 1909, 44 years after Lincoln’s death. With such a glaring error, it makes one wonder what else O’Reilly gets wrong on his nightly TV show.
Both John McCain and Roger Ailes are in their 70’s. McCain was born in 1936.
Ailes was born in 1940.
Both have been married more than once. Both married their current wife when she was at least 20 years younger.
Both picked palin. Ailes admits he picked her because she was hot.
The innuendo is that McCain picked her for the same reason.
This story by MSNBC highlights the fact that Palin can never admit that something she actually said was foolish. The funny thing is that she said it on Fox News, and it was Fox news that proved her to be lying. Whether she declares or not I predict her contract at Fox won’t be renewed.
Over the last two years we have watched Sarah Palin say some of the most foolish things while doing an interview on Fox News. Just a few that come to mind are:
1. Building Dikes to control the Gulf Oil Spill.
2. Dumber than Bush
3. Fox News Commentators think they are off camera.
Two days ago we laughed watching Palin on Fox calling Mr. Cain “Herb” instead of “Herman”. I posted an article poking fun at Palin for calling Mr. Cain “Herb”.
My article included a link to a Fox News web site that worked when I posted it. Two days later the video is not available with a simple explanation “Page Not Found.” Perhaps Fox News is hoping that their transcript, which contained the correct first name for Mr. Cain, would be the only evidence still existing of that interview. Here is the transcript. However even the transcript revealed that Fox had been embarrassed by Palin’s use of the name Herb, and they corrected her in their transcript.
However here are segments of the original video.
The internet featured multiple articles which commented on the reference by Palin of the name “Herb.”
Tonight Palin gave another interview which proves that Palin doesn’t just like to call Mr. Cain “Herb”, but someone must have told her she screwed up by calling him “Herb.”
Now,this is an important lesson in how misinformation is conveyed to Palin fans. The web site www.sarahnet.net reported:
“No, Sarah Palin Did Not Call Herman Cain Herb and Did Not Put Him Down UPDATE: Why Doesn t the Fox News Transcript Match the Politico Video?
Wednesday, 28 September 2011 19:15 | Written by – | |
Somebody told me that Herman Cain was asked about this on CBS News and said Governor Palin was “wrong,” evidently based on media reports. But let’s go to the transcript, shall we? VAN SUSTEREN: How does, though, a politician, though, connect with the people and get it across so it doesn’t just sound like more [...]
The truth is that Palin didn’t know Herman Cain’s name. The truth is that Fox News wouldn’t have corrected Palin when they issued the transcript if they didn’t recognize that she, and thus Fox News, would the subject of much ridicule.

UPDATE:
NSG provided this link. This is the complete interview. She calls him “Herb” four times and Greta works the next time she speaks to use the name”Herman” to try to help Palin, but Palin doesn’t pick up on the clue and calls him Herb a 5th time. NSG points out that not only does she call Herb the flavor of the week, but she suggests that she spoke to the Prime Minister of Israel, and SHE conveyed what the majority of Americans think about the conflict in Israel. While disparaging “Politicians” she says, “Ya Just Don’t Get It.” Maybe if they quit their jobs too they too would have time to “get it.”
Thanks NSG for the link!
Sarah Palin became the focus of headlines when she invited Kasie Hunt from Politico to witness, and report on, her attack of Alex Pappas of the Daily Caller. The grizzly attack was inspired by Palin’s outrage over the headlines of a story suggesting that she had endorsed Romney. The only problem was that the grizzly attack was directed at the wrong reporter. The headline from the Daily Caller was “Palin at Iowa State Fair: I’m Still Undecided on 2012.” In the body of that story was a quote from Palin saying “ABO,” which was the acronym for Anybody But Obama. The headline that was so offensive to her suggested that she had endorsed Mitt Romney, when in fact she intended to suggest that ANYONE but Obama would be an improvement.
It was Palin’s willingness to attack a reporter, for writing a headline she hadn’t even seen, that was so amazing. We have seen the unwarranted attacks of the barracuda many times in the past. Perhaps the most memorable example was when she called Joe McGinnis a “child molester”. It is ironic that the headline about which Palin was complaining was actually the headline of Fox Nation.
We have repeatedly, and painfully, been made aware of the lies of Fox News. Now it is Sarah Palin complaining of the “lies” told about her on Fox. Fox has not admitted that they lied or that Palin had not in fact endorsed Romney. However Fox Nation has evidently removed the story. It would just be “guilt by innuendo” to suggest that removing the story was an admission that the story was untrue, or that the headlines were misleading. Perhaps the policy at Fox Nation is that they only remove stories that are lies or misleading, if their subject is a Fox employee, and if the Fox employee makes a fool of herself disparaging another news agency for the actions of Fox. Does this mean Fox News is now part of the “lame stream media?”
Fox News suspended Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum due to a “conflict of interest” when they formed exploratory committees to consider whether each would run for the Presidency in 2012. The suspension by Fox of Gingrich and Santorum was to last 60 days with their contracts being terminated by May 1,UNLESS THEY NOTIFIED FOX THAT THEY WOULD NOT RUN FOR PRESIDENT.
Fox has declared that it will suspend Sarah Palin when she “indicates her intention to run.” When considering the intention of Sarah Palin to run, consider the following:
1. Palin has launched a bus tour is her custom decorated bus, visiting some of the key states in the primary.
2. Palin visited Iowa for the premier of the Undefeated.
3. Greta Van Sustern, the anchor who has interviewed Palin the most often, has listed 7 reasons that cause her to believe that Palin will run. Thus the representative of Fox News that knows Palin best, believes that she IS running.
4. Bristol Palin has announced that her mother has made up her mind to run.
5. Sarah Palin has complained of that “fire in her belly.”
6. Sarah Palin has declared that she can beat Barack Obama.
7. Sarah Palin has indicated that the only reason she would not run is if her family asked her NOT to run.
8. Here is what each member of her family has said about Sarah running in 2012:
• Husband Todd says, “She’s definitely qualified to run this country. And she’s got a fire in her belly to serve.”
• Daughter Bristol, 20, “wants me to run for president,” Sarah says.
• Daughter Willow, 17, is content “as long as her truck’s running,” Sarah jokes.
• Daughter Piper, 10, is described in the article as a “seasoned campaigner.”
• Son Track, 28, is only briefly mentioned in the story, but there’s no sign of him opposing his mother’s bid.
Thus the only logical conclusion is that Sarah Palin is running. Why doesn’t Fox News have a conflict of interest regarding Palin? Why don’t they hold her to the same standard as Gingrich and Santorum, and suspend her until, and if, she notifies Fox that she is NOT running? Something doesn’t add up! Maybe the balance sheet of Fox News is the only thing that does!

Frank Bailey was brave enough to be interviewed Bill O’Reilly regarding his book Blind Allegiance.
O’Reilly is clearly trying to convey his message in the interview, and didn’t really care what Frank Bailey had to say about Palin. O’Reilly suggested that maybe it wasn’t really that bad that she quit her job as Governor because her priorities had changed. Instead of wanting to govern Alaska, she recognized that she was more interested in power and fame. O’Reilly seemed to ignore Bailey’s comment that when she was in a leadership position, there was chaos. It is especially funny because O’Reilly is the anchor who did the story immediately after the election about Palin’s “lack of knowledge-ability” and he is the one who interviewed Sarah Palin when she promoted building dikes to solve the Gulf Oil spill.
Without question, we know that Fox News will demonstrate bias in its coverage of the 2012 election. However, among the conservative candidates running for the GOP nomination, you might assume Fox News would simply report the news in a “fair and balanced” way. You would be wrong! We know Fox News lies.We know Fox News has already demonstrated its favoritism of Sarah Palin by giving her more air time than the total of all the other GOP candidates.. Of all the GOP candidates, Michele Bachmann is the one that has been compared to Sarah Palin most often. The general consensus is that there is only room for one Pink Elephant in the GOP primary, Bachmann or Palin.
Fox News tried to help Sarah Palin move beyond her latest stupid remark when she shared her mastery of American History by explaining that Paul Revere was really warning the British about those pesky Americans. It would have been wise for Palin to simply admit that she had made a mistake, and move on. Chris Wallace tried to encourage Sarah Palin to do just that. . At the beginning of an interview about another topic, Wallace tried to position the conversation to first dismiss the obvious mistake, and move on to the “real” issues. Predictably, Palin was unable to admit that she was human, and capable of making a mistake. Palin is defensive to a fault. When she used her hand as a teleprompter, she couldn’t admit her foolishness; instead she compared herself to God.
When she made up the word “refudiate,” instead of simply admitting that she misspoke, she compared herself to Shakespeare. By his question about making a mistake Chris Wallace was essentially leading Palin down the path to recovery from the Paul Revere mistake. Palin chose a different path. Her destination on the path she chose terminated at a familiar place. It was that special place where she looks foolish once again.
Realizing that Palin is beyond help, Chris Wallace has now taken a different approach to trying to help Palin. He has gone on the offensive. Since Palin is beyond help, Wallace is now attacking Palin’s most serious competitor, Michele Bachmann. In his recent interview of Bachmann, Chris Wallace pointed out that some people have called her a “flake.”. In that same interview he attacked Bachmann by pointing out that she is not in reality a fiscal conservative, and suggested that she may even be corrupt. Citing the recent article in the L.A. Times, Wallace specifically identified Bachmann’s history with diverting government funds to her husband, in-laws, and her state. Wallace listed these examples:
1. Bachmann benefited personally by diverting $30,000.00 from state and federal funds to a counseling clinic run by her husband.
2. The family farm in Wisconsin, in which Bachmann is a partner, received almost $260,000.00 in federal farm subsidies.
3. After attacking Obama’s stimulus program, Bachmann requested stimulus funds to support projects in her district .
4. In spite of being a fierce critic of earmarks, she has recently supported earmarks for transportation projects.
Fox News has now proved itself to be not only willing to give Sarah Palin a disproportionate amount of air time, but now they are attacking her most serious competition in the primary. Don’t be fooled by Palin’s failure to announce her candidacy. By not announcing yet, Palin is able to continue to be paid by Fox, and Fox is able to continue to enjoy the boost in ratings associated with Sarah Palin. By the time Palin announces her candidacy, Fox News may have established for all their conservative viewers that Sarah Palin is the best candidate, not because of her insightful answers, but because of the negative information presented about her competition. Perhaps Palin will use this image for her campaign signs:
