The following letter was sent to the attorney for David Chaney today

February 8, 2013
Dear Mr. Berger,
On August 7, 2012 I sent you a letter and affidavit for David Chaney’s signature. The affidavit was intended to give Mr. Chaney’s approval for Homeland Security to produce documents to me in response to a Freedom of Information Act Request #20121153-20121174. It was my understanding that Mr. Chaney had been questioned by Merek Schaefer, or another representative of the Secret Service, or Homeland Security, regarding his introduction to a prostitute by the name of Shailey Tripp. Based on the report of Ms. Tripp, that introduction occurred in a Bagel Shop in Alaska, and she was introduced to Mr. Chaney by her pimp, Todd Palin. I never received the courtesy of a response to that letter from you.
I have not received a decision from Homeland Security regarding this matter, and may be forced to file suit to recover these documents. If a suit is necessary, the government and I will each be forced to incur attorney fees that could easily be avoided. A simple release of this information by your client, Mr. Chaney, would avoid the necessity of such a suit. I understand Mr. Chaney is no longer with the Secret Service, but as a citizen of the United States, surely he too would like to minimize the unnecessary spending of money by the government.
Based upon the refusal of Mr. Chaney, Todd Palin, and Homeland Security to produce these documents, it is obvious that the meeting between Todd Palin,David Chaneu, and Shailey Tripp did occur. Otherwise I am sure that your client and Todd Palin would be anxious to clear their names, and expose Shailey Tripp as a liar. It has now been over 6 months since I requested the affidavit from Mr. Chaney, and an even longer time since I requested the documents from Homeland Security. Shailey Tripp’s book Boys Will Be Boys has been in print for over one year, and Todd Palin has never denied her allegations that he was her pimp.
Todd Palin has traveled around the country endorsing candidates for political office. He has appeared on Stars Earn Stripes suggesting that he is such a patriot that he agreed to appear on this show because of his charitable nature and desire to help the military. Unemployed and retired individuals continue to donate money to SarahPAC and their money is being used to pay for the travel expenses of Todd Palin to appear and campaign for people running for political office. If Todd Palin did work as a pimp, he may still be in a position to have undue influence on law enforcement and government officials.
David Chaney could confirm, or refute, the allegations of Shailey Tripp. It is not my desire to embarrass or humiliate David Chaney. It is my goal to reveal the truth. I am asking as a matter of common decency that David Chaney admit that Shailey Tripp is telling the truth regarding her relationship with Todd Palin. It might eliminate the necessity of obtaining the documents from Homeland Security. It is further my impression that because Mr. Chaney was allowed to resign, rather than be fired, that he is likely receiving retirement benefits from the United States government. It seems that the least he could do to prevent further expenditure by the taxpayers of the United States is to simply confirm or deny that he has any knowledge of the relationship of Todd Palin and Shailey Tripp.
If there is any honor in David Chaney, this is the least he could do.
Sincerely,
Malia Litman

This has become a real travesty of justice, especially on the part of IRS. The Palins have been stealing ax dollars with their scams and failure to report income. These people are millionaires, but IRS is busy sending low and middle income Americans to jail and/or garnishing their income. What is the logic behind spending $50-75 (I’m assuming GS-12-14) an hour plus legal fees chasing down a couple thousand dollars and letting hundreds of thousands plus punitive damages sit for years? I understand equal prosecution for all, but this is just poor management of resources.

Did you say HONOR? Alaska does not honor anything or anyone. Nor does sarah or her pimpdaddy. Never has never will. Also, you might want to add to the charges that Todd is pimping for sarah. So that makes her a madam. (illegal madam) She’s a nobody but is paying a pimp to lie to the masses. The madam is clearly in business to make profit off the minds and bodies of others. That is pimping. Taking money from VULNERABLE citizens who are denied facts day in and day out and were denied a better life under madam sarah as gubnr. Or they are too clueless and/or scared to say anything against the madam or her pimp. Not only is she supporting a pimp, and paying him with innocent unknowing citizens hard working honest money (unlike their dishonest inherited wealth), and MARRIED to the pimp, she’s also working the pimp to give pleasure to all the tbaggers and bigots and gun nuts out there that need to hear their kind of ingoramous rw anti gubment anti anti GUN (so more mass murders can occur) ANTIwomen anti CONSTITUTION anti education anti self respect anti americans anti lgbt anti minority anti PRESIDENT OBAMA rhetoric to make it thru the day. SHEER IGNORANCE.

Hi Malia,
Would it be safer to send your letters registered mail? That way these lawyers and the US Governent(re: your Freedom of Information requests) can’t say they didn’t receive the mail. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t trust them.
Keep up the good work Malia. You work so hard for all of us, and I appreciate everything you do.

Whisperingstar is absolutely right. These letters should all be sent by registered mail. Hopefully, this is what you have done, Malia.

Malia, thank you. You are amazing … smart, articulate, and tenacious. This Pimp Todd information has got to come into the sunshine – thank you for taking so much your time and energy to get it there.

Your tenacity is amazing and definitely admirable, Malia! They can only put this off for so long but one of these days, they will have to answer for what they’ve done. There’s not a doubt in my mind that Shailey’s book will prevent Palin from ever attempting to run for office ever again, along with what was revealed in McGinnis’ book. Palin doesn’t want any journalists doing further investigation or to have to attempt to deny her husband was a pimp when Shailey has written proof of the same. Poor Sarah, irrelevant at last!

I have a feeling you won’t be hearing from them. They are hoping you give up. Their silence is thunderous. Anyone who is innocent would be shouting from the mountain tops and the guilty have sealed their lips.
Good work Malia!

I, like many Americans, appreciate your efforts to help not only Shailey Tripp but women and young ladies in similar predicaments like Shailey.
What Todd Palin did is below the level of a human being. He is a snowmobile racer which means he is healthy and able to work but chosed to live off the backs of women and mothers in need.
Many Americans are paying close attention to this case to see how serious our law enforcement is in protecting our female citizens who seek help from predators like Todd Palin.
Thank you

What’s interesting about this story is that not only Todd Palin is not saying anything but there isn’t anyone who wants speak out on his behalf which includes his family members and in-laws. The one person who did speak out happens to be a Anchorage police detective who did so at the request of Todd Palin’s lawyers. The same detective that surprisingly resigned after being challenged if he was authoized to contact the National Enquirer and if he destroyed evidence which a judge had issued court orders that Shailey Tripp’s belongings be returned.

‘Cause registered mail would be conveniently “lost” maybe? By an erring assistant?
Just a guess.
You can outmaneuver them, Malia. No doubt!
I am liking this lots!

Hi laurensd1,
Registered mail has to be signed for by the person accepting it. There would be a record of it being received. That’s protection for the sender, in this case Malia.

whisperingstar,
You are right, but in this case I don’t think there is any issue about receipt, and with Homeland Security I have e-mail confirmation of receipt.

Today on Huffington an article on Jesse Jackson Jr. He is going to plea a deal and that includes some jail time. Main thing, misuse of campaign funds. He bought his girlfriend a $40,000 Rolex. What is the difference, Sarah’s bus cost more than that. The salaries Sarah paid out to her staff for no work done, plus paying family members, etc. and family trips, makes Jesse look like her twin in crime. I bet Sarah is getting investigated big time a we speak.
She is not tweeting anything. Her and Bristol are just being nice on FB, no slamming Obama. Christine O’Donnell got investigated for much less….

I think sarah just leased that bus. It could have been the old mccain straight talk bus or something. Does anyone see it parked anywhere?

Alaska may be scared of Sarah and not come forward with info about her and Todd, but the IRS, FEC and the US Government are not. They have come down on more powerful people than Sarah will ever be. Also, just think, if they take down Sarah and Todd, they are taking down tons of other people in Alaska too. People on Sarah’s staff, doctors, etc. This investigation could take a long long time. The government will say nothing to us if there is an investigation going on, especially if there IS one going on now.

Janice those agencies have branches in Alaska that are corrupt and protect certain people. You can bet Sarah and Todd have many people in those agencies protecting them. That’s how they roll here. I have also lived in NM where the FBI and DOJ did not listen when I reported the cops were drug dealers. As it turned out they were also selling guns to drug cartels in Mexico and stole HIDTA money to the tune of over $300,000. I almost lost my life, two good cops warned me to run. The FBI told me to talk about it at a city counsel meeting which would have endangered me severely, the politicians were involved and corrupt as well. There is much more to that story. The FBI did not investigate missing people in Nome AK for quite some time because the corrupt LEOs and powerful people said all those Native people just got drunk and fell in the ocean. They waited until years after most of them went missing so there was little evidence left and declared no foul play was going on. They could not know one way or the other at that point. Then there is a huge problem with the DOJ in Alaska, which is quite corrupt.

Malia, what is their incentive to answer you? I mean if they ignore you, as they have been doing, there aren’t any consequences, correct? Or am I wrong. Chaney seems like a misogynist jerk. I just doubt they will respond. I hope I’m wrong!!! Thanks, as always, for your hard work.

Lisabeth,
I doubt he will answer. I called the attorney yesterday and he had no interest in talking about this. However if I have to take this to court, I want it to be clear that I did everything I could.

No they won’t, Malia, look at what all of them get away with. All “I” ask is you watch your back. “The Squeaky Wheel” adage does not apply when it comes to politics. We are ALL behind you!

CIP,
I so appreciate your support. As Palin fades from the national stage, it would be so easy to just drop this, but it seems so wrong that someone could cause so much damage, and suffer no consequences.

Malia, I think you should also write to Todd Palin’s lawyer, Mr. Tiemessen, and advise him of all your recent efforts and point blank ask him for a statement. If you could send it today all the better, as it is S’s birthday.
