I don’t think Democrats who attack an innocent thing could understand that devotion and love for him, or accept the truth in it. Dems are people who politicize everything and racebait at every turn. It was lucky we could talk to her at all considering she was an hour and a half late for court. According to her attorney John Tiemessen, she was out shopping. Apparently Sarah thought that shopping was more important than showing up for a court hearing, especially given the fact that she was the one who filed the chargees in the first place! Having seen clips of the movie on YouTube still did not prepare me to emotionally re-live those months of terror as SP was kept on the Republican ticket, even as it became more and more clear she was an ignorant liar who appealed to the worst impulses of humanity.
I was really in despair after the Branchflower Report. Not because of SP herself, but because I thought our political system was broken when she wasn’t immediately replaced. The report proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she used her power as Governor to pursue her petty, family feuds and was casually willing to lie about the results of the investigation.
Sarah Paulson, playing Nicole Wallace represented to me why SP was finally stopped in her pursuit of power. The women of this country were able to see through her.
The end of “Game Change” was chilling indeed. I was only able to complete watching the DVD with some measure of peace, by recalling myself to the present, where SP is now a skinny, washed-up actress.
P.S. Contrary to “Clean you ears” I am very sorry to say that little Trig was scarcely more than a pawn to SP. I was there in Plano, Texas when her book tour took place. In weather where every adult present wore a jacket or hat and scarf because of the brisk weather, Trig was being carried by a young girl with no blanket, hat, or gloves or sweater of his own. At least his feet were covered.
