Sarah Palin’s Jive talkin;  She’s Coming up on the “Wrong Riff,” and She Aint No ”Hep Cat“

Sarah Palin is a class act. We knew she was a bigot.  We knew she called the President of the United States “Sambo.” In fairness, we have to acknowledge that when it comes to her bedfellows, she doesn’t discrimate.  

Yet she doesn’t like to be seen with Blacks. It seems that she only associates with Blacks in the privacy of her bedroom.  Given her racist attitudes, it is not surprising that she would feel that it was appropriate to tweet a racist slur. Palin tweeted:

“Obama’s Shuck and Jive Ends With Benghazi Lies.”

Even if Palin found fault with Obama’s handling of the attack on the Benghazi Embassy, it’s still not appropriate to make racial slurs. It is outrageous, and an example of the trailer trash that she is.

The last time “Jive” was used, that I can remember, was the 1980 movie, Airplane.  That was thirty two years ago, and even then the producers were laughing at the people who were still racist. Here are the famous clips from that movie.

Airplane, and “jive talking” were entertaining when part of the 1980 movie “Airplane”, or part of a song in 1975 by the Bee Gees.

However there is nothing entertaining about Sarah Palin making a racist remark when talking about the President of the United States in 2012.  Barack Obama has been our President for four years.  Even the people who disagree with his policies owe him respect and recognition for the service he has provided.  He didn’t quit his job.  He doesn’t have girls who have gotten pregnant out of wedlock, and then made a career out of doing reality shows about their tragic life, while dancing with the stars.  What Sarah Palin doesn’t seem to understand is that when “Jive talkin” was mentioned in Airplane 30 years ago, it was a social commentary on racist people.  Now, when Palin uses this type of language it demonstrates just how clueless she is.  Not only does it confirm that she is a bigot, but it also shows that she isn’t even smart enough to pretend that she isn’t a bigot.

 There is no excuse for her comment, and there is no excuse for her.
