George Zimmerman is proven to be a liar. However the lies we could previously prove related to his ability to make bail and the financial means available to him to post bond. Now the lies continue. We can prove them again by Zimmerman’s own statements. The lies relate to the most important part of the case; whether Zimmerman acted in self defense.
Here is the video made by Zimmerman the day after the shooting.
Clearly from his own mouth Zimmerman explains that Martin SAW his gun and before he was able to reach the gun, Zimmerman grabbed the gun and shot Martin. When the DNA evidence from the gun and holster came back and showed only Zimmerman’s DNA on the gun and holster, and not Trayvon’s DNA, it was a test that was consistent with Zimmerman’s account of the events that night.y The fact that there was an absence of Martin’s DNA on the gun would only have been important if Zimmerman had reported that Martin actually touched the gun, and that Zimmerman wrestled the gun away from Martin and shot him in self defense. I assumed Zimmerman was smart enough to tell the same story about the events that night, since Trayvon Martin was dead and would not be able to show that Zimmerman was lying. Now we realize that Zimmerman has proved himself to be a liar, without Martin’s help.
Mark Osterman, Zimmerman’s best friend, has authored a book, “Defending Our Friend.” According to Mark, Martin did in fact grab the gun, and it was only after Zimmerman “broke his grip on the gun,’ that Zimmerman shot Martin. If this version of the encounter was correct there should have been DNA evidence of Martin on the gun. Where did Osterman get this story? Clearly Osterman must have gotten that story from Zimmerman himself. Not only were Zimmerman and Osterman best friends, but Osterman was one of the first people Zimmerman’s wife called that fateful night. Osterman “rushed to the scene” that night, and accompanied Zimmerman through the entirety of three investigations, including three interrogations by the Sanford police.
The unequivocal result is that Zimmerman has given two conflicting statements regarding the reason he was “in fear for his life.” Regardless of which is more believable, the most compelling conclusion is that ‘Zimmerman is a liar. Trayvon is dead. Zimmerman shot him. Zimmerman isn’t in jail. Trayvon was not armed. The lack of a story by Trayvon Martin is more persuasive than anything Zimmerman might say.

You can add that lie to the one that Osterman told about how when Zimmerman hung up the phone with the NE dispatcher, he shut his phone, turned around and Trayvon was right in front of him. GZ’s father and brother also have different versions they have told from that night. Where would they be getting these stories from, if not from George? He’s told so many lies that he can’t possibly keep up with all of them. I don’t think he ever believed there was a chance in hell of him ending up in a courtroom. He’s always thought he was smarter than everyone else but this time, his world of lies has come down around him. It’s about time he gets what he deserves!

I forgot to add that Osterman said that he hung up with the NE dispatcher right after they told him not to follow TM. In reality, the phone call continued for another 90 seconds or so while he allegedly searched for an address. I’m having a difficult time keeping all of his stories straight. I can’t wait to see him on the witness stand as the prosecution tears him apart.

Playing devil’s advocate here. Please remember I am firmly on Trayvon Martin’s side and think Zimmerman is a P. O. S.
Zimmerman is not responsible for an account someone else gives.
Having said that, it does not look good that this person is so close to Zimmerman.
This person should be deposed by the prosecutor and asked who told him that version of events as well as any other questions that would clarify who is actually responsible for that account.
That anyone, especially such a close friend, tells an account that is 1) different from what we hear directly out of Zimmerman’s mouth, and 2) different on such a significant part of that account is very important.
Zimmerman is like a “mini-me” to Romney.
1) Flip flops on what happened.
2) Is stupid enough to lie in a situation where he should have known he would be caught 1) to the judge on the bail issue and 2) likely to his buddy on this differing account and 3) not to think of popular CSI type of evidence that would catch him up.
3) Will NOT win this one LOL

Dobie Tracker,
Of course it is the word of this author how the killing happened, but because he only has information from Zimmerman himself, I predict that the prosecution will cross examine the author about where he got his information, and simply ask him how he got his information about what happened that involved only Zimmerman and Martin. To my knowledge there are no eye witnesses to the actual shooting, and this guy was someone on the scene that night, and spoke with Zimmerman, and would have every reason to try to help Zimmerman. If Trayvon Martin has pulled the gun on Zimmerman, then it would be much more believable that Zimmerman would have been in fear of his life. When they made up that story, they just forgot about that pesky DNA test!

I am absolutely sickened by those who continue to defend the sorry likes of George Zimmerman, when he has proven time and again that he is a chronic liar who is attempting to smear a dead teen’s character in order to defend his indefensible act. He has already gotten too many breaks, which most murderers could probably only dream about. It’s amazing to see folks do intellectual gymnastics in order to rationalize his criminal deed. This is only the latest lie we know about, and I don’t see him stopping any time soon, if ever.

Anne,
I agree he’ll continue to lie and show no remorse!

And did Mr. Zimmerman believe that young Trayvon had the right to “stand his ground”…I guess that is a dumb question. Never mind!

We all know that neither the liar Zimmerman nor his loudly ignorant sycophants thought that this kid had the right to stand his ground. This fool has gone through nearly 29 years creating havoc with his confrontational nature and his inability to accept responsibility for the inevitable consequences of his actions. This is yet another time, he has lied and given an account that contradicts the evidence.

The truth is always the same, consistent. Lies end up in contradiction and convoluted excuses.
