Thank you! I had never seen that either. Can’t wait to hear him cut into Mit and Ann and the little Munster boy! He’s been pretty quiet! Please don’t tell me he is dead. I miss so much and have CRS!

Mrs. Gunka,
No I think he’s alive, and I await his comments on Mitt too!

I’d forgotten how well he skewered Palin in this…. “How do you like my northern slopes now, boys?”. Sadly, she’s probably not far from that point now

Devil’s advocate here:
I am assuming that I know what “square on” means, i.e. for example if two people are both standing up and one holds a gun parallel to the ground and shoots the other person who is 4a ft away the bullet will travel parallel to the ground and hit the victim in the left side of the chest.
If that is the definition being used then I agree, if Zimmerman is on the bottom, Travon was most likely leaning forward from the hips to his chest and the gun would have sent the bullet at angle i.e. from nearer Travon’s waist upward toward the shoulder but through the heart.
I think it is a toss up however whether the bullet would have hit a rib. It is possible that it did not. MUCH stranger things have happened and I have one that is really exceptional and NEVER should have happened. It is more likely it would have hit a rib but I think this is a moot point.
If centimeters are to be considered in the same category as inches and even a foot or two, then I think it is also very possible there could have been no physical contact between weapon and Travon.
As far as the heart being hit because Zimmerman intended to kill, another moot point. The heart is the most likely place simply because of the position of Zimmerman (supposedly) on the bottom. I do think it more likely that a position below the heart would have been hit since Zimmerman possibly could not raise the gun high enough to aim for the heart but the heart is “in the line of fine” even without conscious intent to kill.
I dont intent for my thoughts to be considered that Zimmerman is in any way innocent—-I just have to consider these points.
I doubt Zimmerman was on the bottom.
The angle of the bullet is going to be of prime importance.
My “Impossible” situation is as follows and this IS the short version.
I was giving flight instruction to a student in a Cessna 152. Due to a mix up and a phone call that interrupted the student’s preflight of the aircraft, the dipstick to the oil had not been replaced. There is a curved piece of metal by the front door on the passenger side, the side the instructor sits in that is approx.6 to 8 inches long and approx.,4-5 inches wide. The dip stick, which has the screw cap affixed to one end, had been placed on this footstep. The student and I pushed the plane off the gravel apron onto the paved taxi way, got in, taxied to the runway, did a “runup” of the engince, and took off. We did commercial pilot practice maneuvers which involve steep turns, slow flight (very high nose pitch—VERY HIGH) and landed, returned to the school, got out and pushed the aircraft up the slanting gravel apron and parked. THEN I NOTICED THE OIL ON THE SIDE OF THE NOSE AREA.
And then I noticed the dipstick and the large attached screw cap, still laying there horizontal to the ground, on that footstep.
That should never ever have been possible. The chances of it happening are astronomical.
More likely a rib would have been hit, but there is lots of room for a bullet to pass between, BUT MORE LIKELY IF THE BULLET WAS SQUARE ON THAN AT AN ANGLE.

Zimmerman shot him standing approx. 4ft., He then went home, his brother came over and kicked the shit out of him. He then went to some doctor the next day. Zimmerman is a coward and liar in the first degree. He stalked, confronted, sentenced and murdered an innocent young american citizen without reason or cause. Zimmerman is a MURDERER and should be put to death one way or another.

BLM,
Are you suggesting that he went home before the police took him in to the station? Where did you learn this, and can you give us a cite?

I based my opinion and comment because of the initial video when zimmerman went to the pd station. He did not have the serious injuries then. He refused treatment that night. Went home. Woke up and went to a dr. the next morning. Again refused follow up.
There was something said about this theory of his brother coming to his home that night and roughing him up. I will try to find it.
I do believe that martin did fight for his life and that is evident in reports with the cut to his finger. But I do not believe that all injuries that zimmerman claimed the day after are from martin. I also think his father crafted a defense for his son to avoid first degree murder. I will look for the article on this theory.

BLM,
More than anything it is clear to me that Martin didn’t really hit him in the face, as there are close up shots of Zimmerman’s face from the police station that night, and there isn’t a single scratch or bruise on his face!

Malia. I agree. He looked pretty good that night and then strangely he had all that damage the next day. I cant help thinking that daddy had him go home and either his brother or someone roughed him up, then he went to the dr., and then refused a follow up appt. I wonder if there are phone records of his father calling the brother, or him? or witness seeing his brother show up. Now to be fair. Sometimes bruises dont show up for several hours. But? He still just did not have the damage that night as he did the next day. I just find it strange that IF he was beaten and scared to death, in shock, pain, head trauma. He would have been checked and maybe admitted that night, observed and released maybe the next day with orders to follow up. I just think he is a coward and liar. Remember? This is a murder charge and one and one’s family would do everything and anything to get him off. It is a life sentence.

BLM,
I doubt we will ever know what really happened that night, but you can bet that whatever it was didn’t justify shooting an unarmed teen on a Skittles run.

Im still looking for the article and theory. So far just came across discussions from EMT’s etc. And as zimmerman claims he was beaten so bad he lost conscience, head trauma, broken nose etc. As the EMT’s state in online discussions. Zimmerman could not have refused treatment. The police could not have taken a chance that zimmerman had bleeding on the brain while questioning him. I want to know where his father and brother were that night? Who went to his house that night to see him? Did anyone go home with him. I hope that the prosecution does not agree to offer a plea deal and that they force him into court. I also hope that the father and brother are put on the stand. I would put so much pressure on George that he cracks and snaps under oath.

BLM,
I’d like to know that too! I think he said he was “afraid” he’d lose consciousness, but I don’t think he ever said he actually lost consciousness…he may have lost his conscious long ago, but I didn’t think he lost consciousness.

Oh he and his brother and father said that he indeed lost LOL (typo alert) consciousness and one more blow and he would be brain dead, and his brother would have to feed him the rest of his life. Plain and Simple? He is a LIAR AND COWARD. He would have been taken by ambulance to the hospital right then. I cannot wait to watch him get convicted. Next I saw the news on ABC yesterday about the other youngman that was handcuffed and shot in the head while in police custody. Awareness for that case finally. Seems there is many questions for alabama PD.

I love Robin William’s humor! This was choice. So talented. Thanks for posting Malia. I hadn’t seen this either. Mrs. Doubtfire was one of my favorite movies.

deennaa,
I’m old enough to have watched Mork & Mindy, and so I loved Robin Williams from the time he was popular but not nearly as well known as he is today. I think he is probably the most gifted comedian of our time.

Malia, Thank you so much for this link. Robin Williams is an amazing artist, creative and spontaneous. I’m surprised the Republican channel (Fox) wasn’t all over him for criticizing the President, Senator, and half term governor on foreign soil. It’s safer to pick on a female country band member than mess with a biting political satirist who would tear them a new one.

LOL Love Robin Williams. So Funny. “drill baby drill’ yes this describes old sarah louise heathen palin to a T. The GOP 2008 pick to entertain America. Sarah the joke palin. How does she continue? How does it feel to be the biggest joke in the entire country. Does this person not have any self respect for herself? She is not even attractive with all the help available. Most women are beautiful plain or made up. Sarah is gross with or without. Thanks for the great comedy of Robin, Jon, Steven, Bill and many many many more. We shall overcome the plaque of SL Palin.
