What Biden said is true and Patrick Henry in his famous “give me liberty . . . ” speech referenced the colonists’ being in chains and enslaved by the mother country. Not every metaphorical reference to “chains” means enslaving African Americans although what the GOP wants to do would set everyone, not only African Americans, on the road to enslavement.

The GOP wants to discredit Vice President Biden because they know that what he is saying is the truth and they do not handle truth very well.
