What’s even more hilarious is that on CNN’s entertainment blog where there was a story about the Nobel Peace Prize winner’s protest almost all comments condemmed the show and the commenters said they would not watch. But then there was this gem:

Oh, Sarah…you are so transparent! “Denise”, huh? Aren’t you clever! It must have taken the entire clan working feverishly to come up with this desperate ploy. Nice try, assholes. You’d better store up some new fake names to vote for Brisket when she nexts lumbers around the stage on Dancing with the Clumsy.

OK folks, here’s a little insight on those headlines. It may not be accidental. When you are in a writing job and you have a bunch of idiots in management getting paid three or four times your salary, you great creative. The managers are supposed to review your work, give technical and creative advice. The problem is that middle management promoted them to management because they were poor writers. So instead of telling the writer there is redundancy and mixed tense, he/she says “I don’t like the feel of it.” You realize they have no clue what they want and start burying humor and pure insanity in the work.

Other managers just rubber stamp your work, never review it. Again, you start getting creative, repeat sentences, paragraphs, make blatant errors, then move to humor. If you’re caught, you say it was an obvious filler, words you used to keep the flow until you came up with wording for the final version. My personal favorite came from a couple of financial analysts for DoD. They were writing procedures for correcting payroll errors. After the description of possible causes, their corrective action was “Say one Our Father and three Hail Marys.” It wasn’t found until a non Christian pay tech asked his boss if he really had to do it.
