Much controversy has surrounded the question of whether Mitt Romney will invite Sarah Palin to give a speech at the RNC in Tampa. As of today, the only person who has announced an appearance in Tampa, for the RNC, that looks like Sarah Palin, will be a stripper, who is a Sarah Palin-Look alike.
It seems that the owner of Tampa’s Thee Doll House is anticipating great things for the week of the RNC. He anticipates quadruple his ordinary revenue, because “hands down, Republicans have always been our best customers.” Given the appearance of the look-alike-stripper, Republicans will surely be overjoyed at the idea of watching Palin strip, instead of talking. The only question remaining is what words will be written on what parts of the stripper’s body?

OT, sort of…But this reminds me of Sarah, give’em some tongue Palin. Just watched Mitt speaking to the VFW in Reno, NV. He smacks his lips at the end of many of his statements and sticks out his tongue as an occasional point of punctuation. In contrast to Sarah P, he looks worried when the crowd does give him applause. Perhaps, Mittie should work out with the Chippendales. Or better yet, a real Chippendale stripping down to the magic underwear at the Three Doll House.

Hello Malia. As always, thank you for this information. It has been widely reported here in Tampa. Joe Redner is a colorful, local Liberal/Progressive (ran for Mayor more than once)-premier strip club- located on Dale Mabry Highway – near several sports venues and centrally located for Tampa & St. Pete residents & visitors from out of town. The strip clubs, hustlers, prostitutes and drug dealers are anticipating record customer numbers. Tampa is not that exciting a place – especially downtown after business hours. Tampa, my adopted city since 1978, is a “wannabe” big city. It never really quite made it. The once heralded Tampa Trump Tower went bankrupt before it could sell many spaces. The Donald left others holding the bag.
Here is an inside scoop. My ex, a Tampa Cuban-American, born and raised here – taught me that there is a fairly well kept secret about this town. It was built on a sacred Native American Burial Ground – which it desecrated, and the city is therefore cursed. He believed this, sincerely. He is two generations removed from his late grandmother who left Cuba for Tampa along with thousands of other Cubans. I am sure no one at the RNC knows about this. They are too obtuse and vacuous to become aware of such things.
You are a spectacular advocate for the people.

Lanikai – I know a person who works at one of Tampa’s…let’s say…gay establishments. You can be sure that everyone in the adult entertainment industry in Tampa is going to be on alert for a big scoop IF it is big enough for national attention. Some of the gossip/scandal papers (The Globe, National Enquirer) at the supermarket checkout will be here in full force. Everyone wants the big scoop – especially on a right wing hypocrite and fake christianist/dominionist/Teabagger/corporatist.
Palin reportedly has reservations at one of Tampa’s finest downtown hotels during the convention, even though she probably will not be invited. Is Todd Palin coming to this hedonistic, strip club & gay bar paradies, Tampa? Will Mrs. Palin allow him? What disruption(s) will she cause? Does Ron Paul really have plans to install his delegates forcefulluy at the convention & displace other elected delegates who are pledged to vote – at least the first time – for Romney or another less radical candidate (though they are all niuts, in my view)?
Oh Boy, I want to stay and enjoy the show. But all the street closings downtown were announced today. The city will be totally disrupted for a few days. For a bunch of right wing nuts who are religious fanatics & corporatists & servants to the oligarchy and the 1%. Large protests by OWS & others are planned – police have plans to set up certain areas away from the venue of the convention (the return of the cages/pens for protesters ?) So many questions. So little truth, substance and transparency from the Republican power elite/right wing potentil candidates and power brokers. Remember the zoo they foisted on the American people last time! McCain/Palin? Was that a sick joke or a bad dream? Please let’s just re-elect the president, keep the Senate and take back the house. Maybe Tampa will pull the Republicans down into the dirt and sludge that is the Hillsboroujgh River bed & water – running through downtown Tanpa.
