The Atlantic features an open letter to Sarah Palin, purportedly written by a past supporter of Palin and her PAC. Conor Friedersdorf, identified himself by name and objected to Palin’s use of PAC money for things such as making a $19,000 video about herself, to attempt to put herself in a better light. Mr. Friedersdorf, specifically asked Palin NOT to respond by video. It’s a great letter you’ll enjoy reading.

Malia -
I was not able to access the article through your link – so went directly to The Atlantic. It is under Politics and is a great letter. Hmmm. Wish she would reply.

Pat,
Sorry about the trouble, and I too would love to see a response. You can bet she’d say that they are all lies…whatever they said.

are these pathetic people really so far gone that they believe that although everyone on the planet views them as moronic for sending cash to the grifter palin, that suddenly they will endear sympathy to themselves for being the last ones to know they are indeed morons?

m,
They have to assume that if someone is foolish enough to donate to the SarahPAC, they won’t bother to find out who this guy is.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.! Finally the truth comes out and Palin is called out on it. This was a great letter and should be spread far and wide. I just hope she sees it.

Oh, she’ll see it. Especially after C4P is now on a mission to get her stupid followers to DONATE MORE MONEY in the name of the author.
What a bunch of complete and utter dipshits.

Mr. Friedersdorf was a believer WAY too long, but he now knows what so many of us have known for a long time: Palin is a grifter, pure and simple. Nothing more — certainly not a conservative thinker or leader. Poor guy; he’d have a lot more money in his pocket now if he had used his brain instead of his little head. I have little sympathy for people who fail to do their homework , like him.

These people who keep giving to her aren’t going to stop just because she uses the money for something other than what it should be for or she isn’t going to run after all. They are so deep in it that they aren’t going to stop. In their eyes Palin can’t do any wrong. Which is actually pretty sad, when you think about it. They must really be desperate that they consider her to be their heroine.

I have to say after reading through a handful of comments I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that Sarah’s loyalists — albeit diminished in number — do not seem to mind that their hard-earned money is being squandered on all things Sarah rather than on promoting (ugh) T-Party candidates.
However what I find even more galling is that her loyal defenders do not seem to understand or realize that Sarah, a multi-millionaire who can well-afford to buy whatever she wants, is spending their money to pay for her personal vacations.
Although many probably can barely afford to send Sarah money inexplicably continue to anyway. Suffice to say their willfully blind allegiance to someone who is playing them for a fool and they know it, but refuse to see it, is puzzling.
For those like Friedersdorf who are just waking-up, I hope they learned a valuable lesson: the Truth is always right in front of us, hidden in plain sight.
Open your eyes:
1) Look past appearances:
They are staged to create a desired, but false image — an illusion.
2) Do not listen to what people say, but watch what they do.
Actions speak louder than words.
Of course there will always be some folks, like Sarah’s loyalists for example, who do not want to know the truth because it would shatter their entire belief system and/or their idol.

I have no sympathy for anyone who chooses to further enrich Sarah Palin, especially since they will not benefit in any way for doing so. She has been on the national scene for nearly 4 years, which is a lot more time than has been necessary to either see her for what she is which many of us did from the start, or to wise up and stop enriching her. She is a national and international laughingstock, and so are those who insist on supporting her.
As Einstein once said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. It’s also a good definition of block-headed, obstinate stupidity.
