“That’s Entertainment” Says Rick Santorum of Limbaugh’s Comments

Rick Santorum explained away Rush Limbaugh’s comments by describing Limbaugh as an “entertainer.”  Mitt Romney refused to comment.  Even if these candidates generally support the notion that only women should be accountable for sex, every candidate for office should embrace the critical importance of getting all the information before members of Congress.  Even though someone might testify about views you do not share, there should be a recognition of the importance of treating all witnesses with respect, and the importance of preserving the dignity of hearings before Congress.  Even more importantly, and Republican candidates, who oppose abortion, should want to ensure that women have access to birth control.

  1. Any American woman who would vote for either Romney or Santorum is really stupid. Neither of them cares about what their Republican cohorts are trying to do to women. In fact, they’re embracing it.

Rush Limbaugh should lose his license to be on the airwaves – permanently. In fact it should have happened years ago when he was caught with his illegal drugs.

I’ve noticed that, whenever a right wing nut does or says something that is completely over the top, the Republican Party does nothing. Remember the jerk who shouted out that President Obama was a liar during a State of the Union address? He would have been publicly shamed by his colleagues had he been a Democrat; from his fellow Republicans, silence. Republicans are all cowards. Not one of them will stand up and say that the nonsense against women has got to stop.

  2. As Limbaugh’s three ex-wives could tell you, Rush hates women because his teeny-tiny organ cannot stand despite all of the viagra in the world. It’s permanently curled up and embedded, like a white maggot, in his corpulent belly. Impotent men, like Limbaugh, attack women because they fear being laughed at by them.

Email his sponsors, demand limp dick Rush be taken off of the air.

  3. I finally figured out why Santorum is using the Rovian distraction technique. He is the absentee Senator who represented one state, but lived in another. To keep the media and his opponents from mentioning his dishonesty, lying, he keeps taking controversial sexist positions on women’s rights. Investigative reporters exposed the sham residence in Pennsylvania. His Senate seat was a lie and stolen from a real Pennsylvania resident.

  4. So Santorum considers calling a young woman vile names and wanting to require her to film all her sex acts so the world can see because they’re paying her to have sex – entertainment? Figures. All the Rethugs do. They’re big on the man on dog, cows, sheep, horses, and anything that moves. Those uppity women must be brought down so they can’t seduce good Xtian men with their wiles – like Eve did. BARF!

Romney won’t talk about it? That’s OK – Annie will justify that too since he can’t speak for himself without tripping over his arrogance. It will be soon shown that she’s no better.

Hey, on a lighter note. Have you read at HP about the Wilmington City Council’s Resolution to protect sperm under the Personhood amendment? The comments are hysterical.

  5. Santorum is already a troglodyte with his own numerous issues about female sexuality. His warped views belong more appropriately to the 19th century and farther back. But his failure to speak out against Sir Lardbelly’s nasty remarks about a young woman who did nothing more than to testify in favor of having birth control included in health insurance speaks volumes about his lack of moral courage, as well as the fact that he reinforces his own chauvinism.
