In a recent interview Rick Santorum suggested that if you are an enemy of the United States “you are going to get very nice treatment from Obama. But if you are a friend you will get thrown under the bus.” I guess that means Osama bin Laden was a friend of the U.S. as he got a bullet in the head and thrown under the ocean.
Santorum has been treated by Obama with respect, so he must be an enemy of the United States.

They will say anything, anything, to make Obama look bad. I have never seen such an ignorant, arrogant, air-headed bunch of people on TV…and they get paid to be stupid!

Remember when were were called un American when we questioned Bush and the war?
we never said this or talked this way about Bush.
And I liked to know what happened to their love of the Constitution.
Article 6 says that “but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”
I think the republican party is falling apart. They tried to make it the Nazi party during the bush regime, they all towed the line and were locked in step with their leaders.
After the 2008 election it seemed the party fell apart. The tea party sprang up and the republican party welcomed the crazies in with open arms. This is destroying the party. They have no unity and hang on the next craziest thing that is thrown out like red meat at the debates,
The things that were applauded at the debates should make every republican hang their heads in shame.

If that is a photo of Osama bin Laden after his death, then I think it is unfortunate that it is being shown. President Obama was very careful following the action that ended bin Laden’s life about not showing photos of the dead man.
However, I agree completely with your point about Rick Santorum, Malia. Every day he comes up with something just a little more insane than what he said the day before. And the media lets him get away with it!

Beaglemom,
I don’t think it is the real bin Laden, since Obama wouldn’t release his photos, and of course Palin wanted it released

I purposely tried not to see any picture of Osama bin Laden after he died simply out of respect for the people in my family that have passed away in a brutal and unpleasant manner. I wish there had been a warning that you were going to show that photo. It’s pretty disturbing.

NSYEP,
I am sorry about the photo, and I’m not even sure if this is the real bin Laden, I just wanted to make the point that this is a graphic example of how Obama treated the “enemy”.

Wow you got it bad for Mrs. Palin.
They have medication now that might help with your obsession.

I just watched Anderson Cooper on 60 mins and had Steve Schmidt (sp?) on there. I think now it will be Palin’s turn to get run over.

Santorum and his wife are such ignorant right wingers. Oh nevermind, I think all right wingers are ignorant. They lie, lie, lie. It must be the rule at Fox news. If you lie long enough and repeat it over and over and over agai, people will believe it. Apparently stupid people do. Just look at Sarah Palin, the mother of all liars.

I, too, didn’t appreciate opening your site to find such a graphic picture of some unfortunate person. Could you set it up as a link and say something like “President Obama treats enemies like this (link), note that the evidence is graphic.” Then people can decide whether to look or not. Also, and I hate to complain about such a short post, but I think the Santorum-as-Hitler image goes too far. We all screamed about the Tea baggers carrying signs with the President portrayed as Hitler, so it seems hypocritical to do the same thing. That being said, however, I do believe that the Bush administration pushed this country closer to fascism and the control of personal lives that this crop of candidates want to exert on the public takes it even further. It’s a scary time.

Oh, this is just fabulous! Haaay Rickie! Santorum finally came out, quit politics and started doing musicals. And what a great way to start, “The Producers.”
(Disclaimer: I’m not being homophobic. I work on stage crews. For those who have never seem a stage production of The Producers, this photo looks like a gay actor who would be given the Hitler role.)

Just when I think Santorum can’t be any more of a doofus, he manages to outdo himself. He is truly a male version of Simple Sarah in all his belligerently loud cluelessness.

Is Rick still carrying around his “fetus in a jar” to prove what a great family man he is? Shouldn’t he be arrested for abuse of a corpse or just plain bad taste?
Wait…it was Barbara Bush who showed lil’ Georgie the fetus in a jar, Rick and his wife brought their dead 19 week old fetus home for their other kids to meet and greet.
Can you say “lifelong nightmares”?

Barbara,
I have told that fetus story to several friends, and they each had the same reaction! Horror! That was sick!
