One fan of Sarah Palin has criticized her for failing to declare any candidate as her favorite. He isn’t saying that she should have endorsed any particular candidate, but that her failure to do so was a waste of her influence. Palin could have made as much , or more money, if she endorsed any candidate, but her failure to identify “her choice” negates her importance in the GOP primary.

Any endorsement from the Quitter is a kiss of death. Duh.
Alaska’s Worst Governor Ever would rather target people, not endorse them. Scheesh, the Palinbot writer might figure that out someday. Maybe.

Sarah HalfTime,
I think Gabby Giffords could comment on that!

Malia –
I think Palin was holding out for money…that was not forthcoming from any of the candidates, and she got a large dose of reality, i.e., her irrelevance during this election cycle.
As for her ‘fan’, I quarrel with whether that columnist has a 3-digit IQ. She writes:
“I’ve often been a staunch defender of Sarah Palin when it seemed she was being unfairly criticized or when the piling-on by the media and others seemed gratuitously sexist.
But I now have cause to criticize. A Sarah Palin endorsement was undoubtedly a red-hot commodity in this GOP primary. Her non-endorsement endorsement of Newt Gingrich is ridiculous, unhelpful and essentially useless to him. She frittered away her political capital to the point of near-meaninglessness.”
* Are you kidding me that she had to wait this long to have something to quarrel with Palin over? Where has she been for the last 3 years?
* Also, it sounds like she just found out that Palin is no brain trust either in “frittering away” her political capital. That ‘capital’ disappeared LONG ago, which again makes me wonder where the columnist has been.
* The bottom line is that Palin’s “Vote for Newt. Annoy a liberal” mantra was both cavalier and disingenuous. Asking people to throw away their vote is an irresponsible proposition.
(Hoorah! It seems that Palin really is waning in visibility at last (unless she rears her ugly head in AZ, as I fear).

That’s a frightening thought, but if Jan Brewer can get elected Governor with a background Palin could surely get elected with a degree in broadcast journalism!

Palin is a coward.
And a liar, hypocrite and fraud.
She only looks out for her own self interest. Always.

The only thing Sarah Palin should be endorsing is condoms and birth control pills (more commonly known as cramp pills) to the Palin children…

But she jsut can’t choose! I mean, Mitt has all the money she craves, and a family with no illegitimate grandkids. Newt has the sordid history she can relate to, and is even a better mishistorian than Sarah is, AND he promised her a place in his administration. That was enough for Tawd to come running with his tongue hanging out. And then there is Ricky, who is even more against women than Sarah is, and of course, Ron, but he just doesn’t pull out the press like Sarah wants. So what’s a girl to do? Well, since Fox keeps paying her to just yap nonsense, she’s more than happy to clean up once a day and sit in front of that expensive camera and wet her lips provocatively. Who knows? maybe someday someone will want her for something. Has CPAC taken back their invitation yet, or is Sarah still going to the convention to give a free speech? I do hope they are paying her expenes at least. A girl’s gotta fly first class and stay in the best hotel and order steak and lobster if she’s gonna talk for nothing,

Nice title. I’m sure it’s been said many times, by many men, about many Palins.

That article is an interesting read. The author has valid points about endorsements. He is slow to notice Palin did her “tease”. Was he out of the country for the catch me if you can game of family vation/america educatin’ folk faux abandoned bus tour aka cluster f— including an angry child deceived?
He needs to investigate if Newt’s team said no to a request to pay 65-100K for her endorsement. No money, no endorsee. Duh

She’s not FOR anyone except herself. She banked all of her credibility, not on showing what a sharp cookie she is, and sharing her personal solutions, but on being against whatever President Obama is for. His successes make her look like an ignorant, petulant, shrew.

Expect a formal endorsement of Gingrich shortly. Palin is the puppet of the media and bloggers, also too.

maggie,
I think she’d like to endorse Newt, but only because it would keep her relevant

Does she have any influence on anyone other than her SarahPAC contributors who prove the old adage “a fool and their money is soon parted”? I think she knows that her endorsement would matter very little in the grand scheme of things and she does not want to endorse the wrong candidate and have it proven that she means little. I would not put it past her to wait until the conclusion is inevitable and then throw her endorsement behind the likely nominee so she can claim she “picked the winner” so as not to appear as inconsequential as she is.

If she does endorse Romney, she will lose credibility with her base because she’s taken suchj a bizarre anti-establishment stance during the campaign.

The reason she has not endorsed anyone is that Sarah Palin’s choice is really Sarah Palin. I think that, somewhere underneath the furry creatures she wears on her head, Sarah Palin still thinks that the RNC will come knocking on her door, like they did four years ago, only this time it will be for the top of the ticket.

On a separate but related matter, there’s a new book coming out on Faux Nooz called “The Fox Effect” that researches Ailes’ plan to turn the channel into a propaganda machine. They’re taking pre-orders now. For sure, they are covering Palin since she’s a master of propaganda!
