Webster’s Dictionary needs to add one illustration to the next edition. Next to the word “liar” they should have this picture:
Palin lies about everything. She lies about hunting. She lies about speaking fees. She lies on national television. Steve Schmidt confirmed that she lies, even about Todd’s membership in the Alaskan Independent Party. She even lies about things that may not be in the best interest of Alaskans, but in her interest politically.
She lied about the findings in the Trooper Gate matter, saying :
“I’m very, very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing, any hint of any kind of unethical activity there. Very pleased to be cleared of any of that.”
–Sarah Palin, , October 11, 2008.
The Branchflower report concluded that Palin “knowingly permitted a situation to continue where impermissible pressure was placed on several subordinates in order to advance a personal agenda, to wit: to get Trooper Michael Wooten fired.” It adds that she and her husband Todd attempted “to get Trooper Wooten fired for personal family related reasons.” Subordinates were placed in the situation where they had to choose whether to “please a superior or run the risk of facing that superior’s displeasure,” a clear conflict of interest.
She distinguished herself by receiving the award for telling the “biggest lie of the year” for 2009 for fabricating the existence of “death panels.”
In spite of the many outrageous lies Palin has told, she has exceeded even my expectations. Sarah Palin, speaking of the killing of Osama bin Laden, thanked George Bush for “having made the right calls to set up this victory.”
At a time when the entire country is celebrating the death of the world’s most wanted terrorist, and for the first time in several years, the country is united in celebration of American’s accomplishment, Palin is unable to simply say “thank you “ to our President. Rush Limbaugh said “thank you” to our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama. Glenn Beck said that Obama…”did create the condition to allow Osama bin Laden to be killed, and he deserves respect for that and our thanks.”
If Palin had simply been unable to thank President Obama, we wouldn’t have been surprised. However to credit George Bush for setting up this victory is offensive. It is unforgivable. Remember George Bush’s statements about bin Laden:
“The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him.”
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
“I want justice…There’s an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, ‘Wanted: Dead or Alive,’”
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
“…Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he’s maybe in control of a cave. He’s on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we’re going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that’s what’s happening. He’s on the run, if he’s running at all. So we don’t know whether he’s in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open — we just don’t know….”
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site
“I don’t know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don’t care. It’s not that important. It’s not our priority.”
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02
“I am truly not that concerned about him.”
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden’s whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)
George Bush is the President who took us to war in Iraq by justifying it as an effort to find WMDs. When WMDs were not found, Bush explained that:
On October 29, 2003, George Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” in Iraq.
Seven years later we are still involved in Iraq. Consider the “cost” of that war:
Soldiers killed 4,444
Soldiers Seriously Wounded 32,051
U.S. SPENDING IN IRAQ-$900 Billion dollars
Lost & Unaccounted for in Iraq – $9 billion of US taxpayers’ money and $549.7 milion in spare parts shipped in 2004 to US contractors. Also, per ABC News, 190,000 guns, including 110,000 AK-47 rifles.
Missing – $1 billion in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces. (Per CBS News on Dec 6, 2007.)
Mismanaged & Wasted in Iraq – $10 billion, per Feb 2007 Congressional hearings
Halliburton Overcharges Classified by the Pentagon as Unreasonable and Unsupported – $1.4 billion
Amount paid to KBR, a former Halliburton division, to supply U.S. military in Iraq with food, fuel, housing and other items – $20 billion
Cost of deploying one U.S. soldier for one year in Iraq – $390,000 (Congressional Research Service)
TROOPS IN IRAQ
Troops in Iraq – Total 47,000 U.S. troops. All other nations have withdrawn their troops.
For Sarah Palin to give credit to George Bush for the mission directed by Barack Obama that resulted in the killing of Osama bin Laden is outrageous! She should never be forgiven by even her most ardent supporters for this lie. She is a plague on this country.

I guess the “mission accomplished” sign Bush used wasn’t enough for $arah then, it only took seven years and a few billion dollars for her to acknowledge it. Too bad it wasn’t true then, like it is now.
Trouble is, Bush didn’t accomplish it.
Knew she wouldn’t credit President Obama. Palin doesn’t have that much class.
She’s crafting herself as the right-wing poison pill. Whether that poison works for the right or the left is up to $arah.
Personally, I don’t think she has the brains to know better.

There are no words to explain the level of shear sickness I feel every time the media prints something that moronic woman says..as if it carries any weight at all. She QUIT! How the hell does someone respect a QUITTER who LIES CONSTANTLY and then prints her 1/2ars remarks as if! I’m so sick of this media trying to maker her appear like anyone cares what the moron says. For crying out loud..enough of this idiot already. I think we should all boycott the media till they start reporting on real people with real education and knowledge. Well, that leaves the whole GOP out.!

“She is a plague on this country.”
That sums it all up very neatly. She is one of THE WORST plagues this country and politics have ever seen.
The president has demonstrated that in spite of all the “attack machine” attempts to smear, and paint him as incompetent and weak, he has pushed on and moved forward. I am thankful for his brains, wit, polish, dignity, graciousness, determination and strength.
SP has none of those qualities. Instead, Palin is a pouting, petulant, prevaricating, propagandizing piece of poppycock.
Looking forward to the day when we no longer hear about her or see her–a nationwide bash or party would be in order, as that would definitely be something to celebrate!

Yes, we need to put our best scientists to come up with an immunization for “Sarah Palin”.

If the GOP has their way, no one will be educated enough, and there would be no grants for research, to come up with an immunization for anything. How exceptional will our country be then?

“She should never be forgiven by even her most ardent supporters for this lie. She is a plague on this country.”
but she will be forgiven..actually no forgiving to be done in their little palinsupporting minds. The media will still print her disrespectful assenine remarks. These are folks you cannot penetrate. Not because they are so palinbelieveres..they are soooo prejudice and will not rest till the black man leaves. Bush needs to come out and stop these narrow minded morons and remind them that he was the one singular president who ruined this country on all fronts in a short period of 8 years! THIS IS WHY THEY KEEP SAYING OBAMA IS THE WORST PRESIDENT..he is not of course. BUT WE HAVE TO MAKE YOU FORGET HOW BUSH REALLY REALLY RUINED THIS COUNTRY IRAQ AFGHANASTAN..EVERYTHING..AND HE GETS 100 MILLION dollars for RUINING AMERICA! Obama’s mature thinking and listening to the real experts (unlike bush who listened to no one but HIS INSTINCTS!SHT!) got a major terrorist killed. Not with big bad cowboy talk. No..with real thought out plans. People hate him even more now becuase remember..black leaders are not supposed to be smarter than white leaders. THIS IS WHY WE CANNOT GIVE HIM THE CREDIT DUE HIM. THE RIGHT WING SHOULD BE INCREDIBLY INCREDIBLY ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES…such little men and women on that side.

I don’t know about Rush, Malia. In print it sounded like he was thanking the president but I guess he was saying it sarcastically and meant it more like the president was getting all the credit for nothing. You know how it is, if you are a republican president you get ALL the accolades. If you represent the democrats then you didn’t have a damn thing to do with it.
Bunch of morons they all are. Anyone who can’t thank the president along with everyone who serves is just crazy.

She is a rather small meteorite that burned hot and by the time it hit ground was nothing but a small rock indistinguishable for the rocks around it. I’ve seen big ones streaking across the sky, and they which burn up in the atmosphere and leave obvious traces, or they are small like Sarah Palin.
The Queen of the flying Monkeys is irrelevant now, and must be steaming mad. She is self destructing bit by bit.

Malia, I have said it before and say it again. This quitter will run. She can’t help herself. She thinks she is the lone ranger who is going to save this country. We all should remember how a mother puts her family’s dysfunction on display for the world to see and thinks that is going to help her get to the white house. She isn’t a normal woman. I mean for her to say spending quantity time is better than quality time with her kids tells you something about how these kids have grown up. Nothing this woman does surprises us. We think she wouldn’t go there but then she does and she doesn’t care. You know one thing I have observed about her and many republicans and that is they ENVY the president because he is smart, calm, and a good family man. Those qualities Palin nor Trump have and wish they could have.

Oh, I think she still plans to run. She’s hired a Breitbart blogger, Peter Schweizer, as her foreign policy adviser. He’s associated with the Hoover Institute. Joe McGinnis says she was turned down by Randy Scheunemann and Michael Goldfarb. Schweizer is another epic Palin fail, imo.

She wants to run, you can bet on it, and there are plenty of people whispering in her ear that she should run and that she can actually win…WILL actually win. And, of course, she believes it. Despite the fact that she has basically done nothing to increase her knowledge base, credentials, or experience (taking a couple of overseas trips where she barely left her hotel room doesn’t cut it), she thinks she deserves to be President.
I don’t know if she will ultimately run, but she wants to.

I am guessing that this high of a degree of open contempt for the Commander in Chief would not go over well within the ranks of the military. Want respect? Then give respect. That’s how that system (and most of life) operates.

The Dixie Chicks were vilified yet when she says anything it is just A-okay with them? It really makes me ill. They are all a bunch of hypocrites.
Maybe I should have a party and everyone who bought “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” DVDs can bring them over and we will burn them. Only problem here is that I don’t know anyone who bought it nor do I know anyone who even watched it. I think that is a GOOD thing;)

jame,
You either command it, or earn it.
President Obama has done that, and more.
Palin hasn’t done either.
Which is why she deserves none.
Being a veteran, her words mean nothing. Never will. Until she decides to put on a uniform, and put “don’t retreat, reload!” to the test, it’s only BS coming out of her mouth, nothing more.
And that’s all the respect she deserves.

Malia, Thank you for bringing some facts to the table. Iraq is an outrage and the military industrial complex continues to soak the American taxpayer. But, the most hideous aspect of the war is the toll on the citizens of Iraq. It is shameful we Americans haven’t apologized for the chaos we are causing. Iraq is a very complex nation and Bush simply had no clue or cared to learn about the Iraqi people. He and his buddies only saw $$$$ and oil.

According to Wkipedia the “Mission Accomplished” speech was May 1, 2003 not October.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Mission_Accomplished_Speech
Otherwise, dead on. Plus she made the statement after Limbaugh and Beck had made their statements so it isn’t like she would have been sticking her neck out.

Malia, I so agree with everything you have said here. I am a new reader to this blog and like very much that you bring the truth out about Palin. I saw right through her from day one and am so glad the truth is coming out about her. I do want to gently disagree on one thing. The terrible Rush Limbaugh did not mean what he said about President Obama. He was sarcastically berating him and demeaning him. The link is here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/02/limbaugh-thank-god-obama-bin-laden_n_856425.html.(See Update) He is an evil, vile man who, along with Palin cannot even have one iota of respect for President Obama. He and Palin bring much shame to this country.

O.T. what I was writing, I zapped away somehow…so I’ll cut to the chase…
The Stench will be in Point Clear this evening for the Exceptional Foundation of Baldwin County….30miles away, way too close, bad vibes.
They have a facebook page now and say they are qualified as 501(3)c yet will not scan and post the papers. It was requested in the comments. The Marriot Grand Hotel is a beautiful expensive place. She should’ve been happy with a few days there on the bay instead of her money grubbing ways.
Hope someone takes pics and posts them so we can check out the fit of her shoes, etc. I’m still enjoying that(and the dirty clothes).

LOL Here we go again Sarah Palin Can’t Name Most Influential Journalist:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/03/sarah-palin-cant-name-mos_n_856968.html
But while most of the attendees had no problem coming up with answers (Eliot Spitzer said Brian Williams, as did Andrea Mitchell, while SNL’s Bill Hader went for The New Yorker’s David Grann), Palin fumbled when asked.
“Oh my goodness, that’s a great question,” she said, before turning to her husband Todd and asking for his input.
When Todd also balked, Palin came back and said, “Um, gosh, that’s a great question, I have to think about it, OK? Because there are many.”
As Palin walked away from the camera, she ran into her Fox News pal Greta Van Susteren, and then turned back to the NBC cameras to shout, “Greta Van Susteren is the most influential journalist!”

The “Plague” sums Palin up perfectly. Since her introduction to the nation, too many negative things have occurred. We need to focus on our wonderful, intelligent, tough President Obama and be thankful for the positive influence he and his family have had on our country. They are a class act way above $carah and her brood! I thank God every day that McCain/Palin lost the election….just thinking about them in command makes me sick!

speaking of speaking fees, sarahpac put something out STATING that all proceeds

Personaly I think she will run because she wants to keep the attention focused on her for as long as she can. Being as thick as a brick she takes even our negative attention as worthwhile publicity. They are afraid of me.
No we are afraid of your stupid following actually voting for you, the Queen of the Flying Monkeys.
Problematic is the racism that is out there. Shocking though it is to think we are still mired down, she fattens on the racism against Obama money wise. Her following loves her disses to him. It isn’t merely her resentment that he won, it gives her clout with the racists to diss him every way she can verbally. They love it.

Palin is an opportunist who takes the fears and naive misconceptions of the least informed and capitalizes on these by inflating ideas into seeming reality. She is also a copycat. She has no original ideas, only those ideas she has sucked in, masticated and molded into some momentary profitable form.

Unfortunately, it’s not just a Palin thing. I have heard several right-wingers at this point say how lucky Obama was to “take advantage of the opportunity that President Bush provided to him”. What opportunity?? Starting a war in a completely unrelated country?

Sarah Palin’s character is accurately summed up as follows:
(I)gnorant
(D)emented
(I)ncendiary
(O)bsessed with power
(T)edious
Ever since 2008, she has confirmed America’s low opinion of her with her hateful, ill-informed statements on just about about every subject she comments on. In addition, her pointlessly oppositional and seditious comments about our president only cement her unfitness to hold any political office ever again, least of all the presidency. On Immoral Minority, the author of that blog has cited a poll in which the Republican respondents voted her as more trustworthy on national security than 2 others (Huckabee and Romney). With her legendary stupidity, her ignorance and disregard of the complexity of international affairs, and her shoot-from-the-hip mentality, anyone who thinks she belongs in a seat of power is not playing with a full deck. She is divisive and only cares about herself, as opposed to the negative effect she has had on political discourse.
